Batabano
Held
in April, just after Easter. Colorful weekend-long
costume Carnival. Local bands playing island music,
dance groups and school children fill the streets.
You'll find it hard not to join in the fun!
Cayfest
Held in April offering exhibitions of Cayman history,
cultural events and art.
International Fishing
Tournament
Held in April. Competition to catch the big one!
Over US$400,000 in prizes.
Million Dollar Month
Held in June. Competition to catch the Atlantic
Blue Marlin. The current record is 584 pounds,
which was caught in 1984.

Queen's Birthday &
Cayman Islands Aviation Week
In honour of the Islands' British heritage, the
birthday of the Queen of England is celebrated
each June, filling the streets with a full military
dress parade, 21-gun salute and an Open House
and Garden Reception at the Government House.
Aviation week always co-insides with the Queens
Birthday celebrations, and the Islands enjoy a
Bank Holiday weekend.
Taste of Cayman
Held in July offering the chance to sample many
of the islands restaurants within the same night.
Pirates Week
Held in October. This 10 day long event offers
the chance to see the landing of pirates to the
island, various sporting competitions, district
heritage days and street dances.
